A native of San Antonio, Mike brings over thirty years of extensive experience in Retail Banking, Commercial Lending, and Mortgage Banking. His deep industry knowledge and expertise in home and construction loans enable him to guide clients through the mortgage process with ease and efficiency. Mike’s approach goes beyond numbers; he sees the family behind the finances and is dedicated to ensuring his clients understand every step of the mortgage journey.

Since joining Texas Lending Partners in October 2018, Mike has been passionate about serving the communities of Comal, Wilson County, and San Antonio. He is committed to educating his clients throughout the home loan process, empowering them to make informed decisions that align with both their short-term needs and long-term financial goals.

Mike’s dedication to mortgage education extends beyond his direct client work. He has also contributed as a trainer for NeighborWorks America, a national non-profit established by Congress, where he helped educate professionals on affordable housing opportunities and long-term solutions for individuals and families with limited budgets.

In recognition of his industry expertise, Mike served as President of the San Antonio Texas Association of Mortgage Brokers from 2008 to 2009. His leadership and knowledge have established him as a respected figure in the field, and he is grateful for the opportunity to share his insights with both clients and peers.

Outside of his professional life, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife, Jan, their children, and their families. He is also an avid enthusiast of tennis, swimming, and bicycling.

Consumers wishing to file a complaint against a company, or a residential mortgage loan originator should complete and send a complaint form to the Texas department of savings and mortgage lending, 2601 north Lamar, Suite 201, Austin, Texas 78705. Complaint forms and instructions may be obtained from the department's website at www.sml.texas.gov. A toll-free consumer hotline is available at 1-877-276-5550. The department maintains a recovery fund to make payments of certain actual out-of-pocket damages sustained by borrowers caused by acts of licensed residential mortgage loan originators. A written application for reimbursement from the recovery fund must be filed with and investigated by the department prior to the payment of a claim.
